Ministry of Health Confirms No MERS-CoV Infection In Suspected Case Reported In Mass Media And Social Media

The Ministry of Health would like to clarify the information being reported about a patient suspected of having Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-Co​V) infection by the ​Malaysian Rakyat Post on 13 June 2015, Borneo Post on 14 June 2015, and spread through social media in Brunei.

The Ministry of Health informs the public that the Republic of Korea (South Korea) has reported to the World Health Organisation (WHO) of cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) among their citizens.
